By allowing the form itself to fracture, the film is more revelatory than any expert commentary alone.

The Narcissist’s Playbook is fascinating, gripping, and one of the most compelling portrayals I’ve seen of how malignant narcissists and sociopaths operate. Having been the target of dark manipulation, I’ve lived with the frustration of people not understanding how this is not only possible, but far more common than most realize. This documentary is deeply validating, and eye-opening. It’s essential viewing for anyone who wants to recognize the signs and protect themselves from these predators. It’s not only a thrilling ride, but a vital and timely service to humanity. I hope as many people as possible watch it. 

All I can tell you is there is one scene in this movie... my jaw was on the floor. That moment puts everything into perspective and tells you exactly what narcissistic abuse is and why it is so deathly dangerous.
